The Meaning of Green

There between sun's yellow and sky's blue

is the color of go. Mother's color, free passage

Open to hope, related to leaf and blade

The seed splitting itself, the first shoot

What is of peace and rest and growing

Fresh after rain, smell of life

And you. You are easily green to me

and more: breath even

joy, most certain
