He don’t give a fukk
if you’re Republican or a Demoncrat,
Or even a Witness of Jehovah-bat

he’ll be there at your door
with his smiling, slightly ruddy face,
beer-belly held in place

and beefy hand held out
to clasp your own. He’ll rout

the blues and with his smile like a torch
will melt them from off your porch.
