Sharing Christmas with family.

If the stars were nearer we would fly there

or flow in the river

to the ocean

the argument made in Judea

of One Body One Blood

the holy answer found as I enter

your world

you and your sacrament of creation

childbirth body and blood

sharing stars and oceans

and all other brothers and sisters born of clay and ash

the love flowing in and out around

and Creation is the question

and the answer

Salvation the sharing

of gifts of thanks.
