Ally has made it through this week of chemo. She is energetic and playful. She has today off, as per her low counts on Monday. She will get a blood draw on Sunday to determine if she will get 4 or 5 days next week.
Back to last week though, and all the fun stuff Ally got to do. She made a quick trip to Auntie and Uncle's house (which strangely she has never been to before). She was very excited to explore the purple room with Uncle. After that we headed to a friend's house where Ally played with two little boys. It was nice to visit with friends and expose Ally to other kids (she doesn't get that often). On Saturday the Moore Family invaded Portsmouth for a birthday extravaganza. It was loads of fun! On Sunday the Schulte side of the family came to visit Ally to celebrate Daddy's birthday; yummy breakfast buffet!
This week we have not done much. I said before that Ally has lots of energy and is playful, but when I asked her if she wanted to go out yesterday she just wanted to stay at the house. She was very playful, but I think the chemo is affecting her more now. She has always been a cuddly kid, but even more so the past couple days.
We are looking forward to a fun weekend.

In another strange turn of events: Ally's counts were higher today than they were just before she started chemo. I am not even going to begin to think about how that is possible; I am going to just be happy.
She has 4 days of chemo this week. A visit from Grammie Schulte, spending the day with Grammy Moore on Friday while Mommy works and then a funtastic Schulte Family Fun Day on Saturday! Yippie!
Have a great week.
Note from listener: Looks like I will finally get to meet Ally on Saturday, at a special family gathering in her honour! I can hardly wait!! :-)
