Did I mention that I've decided that Republicans want to BE right and not DO anything. Democrats, I suspect, don't understand that, since they're into DOING.
The advantage of limiting oneself to BEING RIGHT is that one doesn't have to DO anything. Moreover, if one IS RIGHT, it doesn't matter if one does wrong.
This throws a whole new light on the meaning of situational ethics. If what a person IS determines the value of an act, rather than the effect of the act on its object, then everything that a person who IS good does, is good. A good person cannot do anything bad.

But, we can actually use this to our advantage. We can tell Republicans that if they want to BE right, they should vote for Democrats who will DO the right thing. And they will be able to continue not doing anything at all.
