This morning, letting Stevie out, he sprang to alert! Then the Phoebe caught my eye. It has been making sporadic attempts to get in for a couple of weeks. But this morning the french doors were still closed. As I hurried to push them open, Stevie was headed towards the hapless Phoebe. S/he escaped just before the leap, but Stevie was unhappy and restless all morning (due to the big rush of adrenaline?).

Last year's Phoebes made their next directly over my front door, so when the babies arrived I had quite a mess on my welcome mat. Obviously this one's casing the joint for a better location, lol! What it does not know is that this summer, that room is due to be moved into. . . .

And I wish it would stop. If it doesn't, one day Stevie will be faster than I am.
