While I don't usually ascribe to guilt by association, whom someone consistently associates with has become increasingly important now that we have an administration based on crony relationships.
So, it seems worth noting that not only was Hillary Clinton employed by the Stephens Group during her lawyering years, but Jackson Stephens, after having supported Poppy, provided seed money to Bill Clinton for his run in 1991 and then backed Georgie in 1999. Whether Stephen was just hedging his bets or backing a spoiler who wasn't supposed to win, is unknowable. What seems fairly certain is that these people are rather thin in the principle department.
Of course, Hillary demonstrated that in the health-care debacle which, more and more, looks like an exercise to demonstrate what can't be done. Not very different from the Republican'ts.
