I know I shouldn't,
but I do. Adore this flower. One can't even touch it without gloves, and it has the taproot from Hell. But it is so beautiful. And fields are beautiful when they're full of it.
Known as both Blue Devil and Viper's Bugloss. . . .

Hope so. Must be cooler if you are.

Am back. For a couple of weeks. And it's most decisively cooler here! Then back for Opening Night. Then back here again, then back there for Closing Night. . . . Then both of us back here, for a night, then a week in San Diego and LAX, then Morgantown. Yikes!
