Here are the things that have been removed  from Ally today:
Her A line (an IV type thing that measures her blood  pressure)
Her NG tube (tube down her nose)
The extra IV in her foot
Her  catheter (diaper changing time)
She is now just hooked up to IV fluids and morphine through her Central  Line.
Daddy is allowed to push the morphine button every 10 minutes, and  instructed to push it at least every hour to maintain.  He has only had to push  it every hour, and mostly because they say so.  Ally is MUCH more comfortable  today.
Ally is going to spend 1 more night in the PICU and, as long as  there is room on Pedi tomorrow she WILL move up there.
She is still  really out of it.  When she does open her eyes they are glazed over, but her Daddy   has noticed some improvement in her today.  Hopefully tomorrow she will "wake up"  and start interacting.
