Hi everyone! Tomorrow is Tanner's 4th birthday!!!! That means he's officially lived twice as long as anyone thought he would. Hooray for Tanner. We are so grateful we have him with us. He is such a joy. He is talking so much, and expressing himself so well.

Since his b-day is on a Sunday, we decided to celebrate today and tomorrow. I bought him a camera for his birthday, and we planned to go to the zoo. He was so excited. But, less than halfway to the zoo, the transmission on our van went out!!!! Poor Tanner (and his cousin Tagen) kept saying "i'm scared, i'm scared." Then it changed to "How we get to the zoo????" :(

I called Jason who came and looked under the hood, and called a tow truck for us. Then my brother came and took us (Me, Austin, Noah, Tanner, Grandma Grandpa, Aunt Beth, cousin Tagen) home. What a day!

Then when we were having cake, Tanner realized he'd lost his camera. He looked at me and said "now I'm sad" , then laid his head on my shoulder. I was sad too! Luckily it was in my brother's van, and we'll get it back tomorrow.

I took Tanner to get his labs last night, I'm just so grateful it didn't happen last night!

Well, that was our day. Hopefully next week will be better than this one.
