Ally's Mommy relates a frustrating day...

We are back from Boston. We are a little confused about why we had to make the trip down there. We got right in at 12:00. We chatted with a nurse, who asked us the same questions we have been answering for a month. Then (12:45ish) she left, saying another nurse would be right in to take some blood for labs. At 1:30 she FINALLY showed up....no lunch for us. We were then supposed to meet with the Neuroblastoma expert doc at 2:00. At 2:45 she FINALLY showed up. We answered more of the same questions, learned that the transplant of the cells back into Ally will take a MONTH of us living in Boston, (possibly 2 months, if she is picked to do it twice), and then at 3:00 we left. Except for the lab work, it all could have been done on the phone. We were frustrated and then ran into traffic on the way home.

At least we have one more day with her at home before we head back up north.
