Without making too big an issue of it, I pretty much have to declare that I have a frigging raging case of cabin fever. I've been iced in for virtually weeks, and now, I'm also flooded in. AND out of cigarettes.
In aid of the latter, attempted to get out of my icy driveway earlier. No damn luck. Now, I am full in the roadway, which doesn't matter since there's no traffic on the up mountain road this time of year. If neighbors show, they show planning to walk up.
Just before dark it started to rain, and added to the snow/ice melt, I now have a raging flood. Only hope is the the rain will hasten the ice melt, and by the time the river goes down, I'll be able to get out of my driveway.
Truth in lending: this rant has a direct causal relationship to the lack of nicotine in my brain.

Don't be silly. Use it as an opportunity to kick the habit. You know they haven't been tasting right for a long time.
Alternatively, picture yourself living in an iron lung or in traction for the rest of your days if you end up in a crashed car.
Have you got some knitting to keep your fingers busy?
