YES!!!
Would it be possible for you to come and see this show? I know with all
the animals travel is not a thing done lightly or easily but I'd love
for you to see what I am working on. You may not actually see me work,
but it would be a chance for us to meet.

I do believe you must have been reading my mind, grin ~~ I know how crushed you are with work, and I'd really have hesitated to bring it up, so I am so delighted that you did!
I could either drive to Milburn or drive to DC and take the train to Penn Station. Give me, when you can, times, dates etc. (Please don't make me drive to NYC, LOL!)
I would so love to "see what you are working on."
While I'm here, in this place, I probably should say to you, because I know I haven't ~~ how much I admire and am in awe of what you do. Both for the reasons you chose to do it, and keep doing it, and because I am very aware of what an amazingly difficult thing it is to choose to do with one's life. How much real courage it takes. I looked at it at 21, and was basically too terrified to continue. Also the reason I edited rather than freelancing. It's like stepping off that cliff with the total confidence in yourself that those wings will work! And yours have. And I love you for the stepping and the flying both.
And now, while I have your attention: How tall are you? Are you a vegetarian? Do you smoke? What's your shoe size? (yes, I'm serious, hearty thingy).
And finally, but not least: I love you. ~~ Julie

puddle, it occurs to me that you *did* step off a cliff when you went to meet Edwin. And you flew.
