The Angry Buddhist. . . .
. . . .has lots of bark and plenty of bite, growling with a ferocity that can shake scenery and hoist the whole production to a new level.
. . . .(though I mustn't fail to make particular mention of Mr. Owens, who triumphs in the daunting task of illuminating the soul of an all-but-inarticulate man)
Edwin C. Owens's performance as Gar's father is compelling in its deceptively stolid simplicity.

a real actor. He understood that performing was not stepping into someone elses shoes, but rather finding and harnessing the traits in yourself to fulfil the character
