When you are going to move or just to move the altar to another room, visualize that the Holy beings enter your heart chakra or a Dharma wheel in the form of lights before you move anything on the altar. After you have set up the Buddhist altar again at the new place, then visualize the Holy beings return to their images in the form of lights.
