Sometimes She just takes your breath away. . . .

Been blue all morning. After the last post, falling into something like despair.
And then. As if by magic.
I went to the window to see if the water was clear enough for me to gather, and on the bridge, framed by my window, and reframed by the trees was a Great Blue Heron! I stood literally transfixed for five minutes watching it. Finally, I shifted a little, and it flew, in all its glory, away. Not quite as good as sharing morning coffee, but under the circumstances, how could I take it as anything but a very personal, and huge, blessing?

Yes. That's really what it felt like. ♥s
Cracks in the ground here, just the right size for a cat. Soybean plants growing in deep dust. Our primordial great Blues have flown off to new homes in new wetlands. Greed seems to be a major cause of evolution. The balance is capricious.
Puddle, thanks or the Brautigan stuff. timeless.... The seldom-visited outhouse on our famplace sports this sign:
Im a monument now to a good ass gone under. There's no mystery here. That's why the door's open
